Where are the dreams?

Everyone has a dream….. till the time they are young and the reality has not bitten! The first introduction to the dreamland is through Grandma’s tales (at least till my generation). Then comes the story books, followed by electronic media and now the internet.
While dreams are fueled left-rigth and centre till adolescence says good bye and youth sets in…..its equally funny that it hardly takes any time for reality to pinch the ‘balloon of dreams’. but still the shelf life of dreams is pretty much, what 20 years….
dream on……

Judge Not

I was shocked confused bewildered
As I entered Heaven’s door, Not by the beauty of it all
Nor the lights or its decor

But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp

The thieves, the liars, the sinners, the alcoholics
the trash

There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice
Next to him was my old neighbor
Who never said anything nice

Herb, whom I always thought
Was rotting away in hell
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine
Looking incredibly well

I nudged Jesus, “What’s the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How’d all these sinners get up here?
God must’ve made a mistake.

“And why’s everyone so quiet,
So somber? Give me a clue.”
“Hush, child,” said He, “They’re all in shock.
No one thought they’d be seeing you.”

Wisdom…..

Read today:

I walk down the street.
There is a hole.
I don’t see it.
I fall in.
It isn’t my fault.
It takes a very long time to get out.

I walk down the same street.
There is still a deep hole.
I pretend not to see it.
I fall in.
I pretend it’s still not my fault.
It takes a long time to get out.

I walk down the same street.
There is still the same deep hole.
I see it.
I fall in anyway.
It’s a habit.
I get out quicker this time.

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole.
I see it.
I walk around it.
I don’t fall in.

I walk down a different street.
